AR: Selfie with a Tiger for Rabobank

 

Long standing client, Rabobank (worlds biggest food and agri bank), have a history of being progressive when it comes to their marketing. Whether it’s VR experiences or AR campaigns and games, they are always quick to embrace new things, and in Australia, Page 2 develop the majority of that content. 

Accordingly, when Rabobank wanted some cool tech to engage with clients in their impressive new food truck, Page 2’s AR Selfie platform (and a partner VR experience) was chosen. Activated via the AR Selfie app installed on a touchscreen PC, visitors sit down and pose for a selfie in a 3D animated scene with selfies being sent via MMS, email or even posted live to campaign social channels.

As a means to demonstrate the impact of food waste (globally we waste a third!), it was decided to highlight the plight of the tiger and the way that deforestation has decimated numbers in the wild. Visitors sit down in a jungle setting and pose / interact with a tiger, an experience that most of us would only dream about. 

“Don’t be a Waster” campaign messaging and Rabobank branding feature both in the image, while user data and stats are collected and tracked for later marketing use.
