VR: Face to face with a tiger in the jungle…

Us city slickers are rarely put in harm’s way in the natural world, but for those that have, the results can be life changing. Trying to stare down a massive Bengal tiger getting ready to attack is something you’ll experience in “Tiger”, the latest VR experience created by Page 2 for Rabobank. It highlights the devastating impact that deforestation has had on tiger populations in the wild.

To bring this to life, Page 2 has created an immersive 3D experience transporting viewers to an Asian jungle setting including detailed 3D plants, surround Ambisonic sound and swept along by a cinematic score and documentary style narration. The moment the tiger stalks into view and makes eye contact is definitely a memorable one, invoking a physical reaction in many viewers.

To round out the experience, when viewers take their VR headset off, they are invited to have a selfie with the same tiger using Page 2’s AR Selfie  providing a direct conduit to social sharing.

“Tiger” has been created in 5.2K 3D for Oculus Go, the most effective way to create a multi viewer mobile VR theatre experience. Contact Page 2 on 0415 420 521 to see how our Sydney based virtual reality developers can team up with you on your next project.
